The Equestrian and Riding school offers memorable riding activities in the Sand Dunes all year round. Qualified instructors, together with our reliable and experienced horses will take you on the best adventures! You can choose from hacking on beaches and moors and riding lessons for riders of various levels on the outdoor and indoor arena. The offering includes weekend, holiday and summer courses in cooperation with local accommodation providers.

Icelandic Horse Stable Mímir

Icelandic Horse Stable Mímir offers tölting adventures during the summer season 2025 near the sand dunes of Kalajoki. The offering includes trail rides of 1–3 hours, and starting from July, riding lessons in the arena. All rides are done in small groups with individual guidance, listening to the horse and never compromising on safety. Come experience a unique connection with horse and nature – with us, it’s done from the heart.

Magic Sand Stable

Magic Sand Stable offers unforgettable horse experiences on the magical sands of Kalajoki. On guided tandem drives, you’ll get to know the world of trotting horses – helmet on, goggles in place, and a professional trotting driver by your side. This experience is perfect for birthdays, wellness days or bachelor/bachelorette parties. Another option is a gentle horse care moment, where you’ll learn grooming, handling and tacking the horse according to your own preferences and needs. The activity is ideal for beginners and can be tailored to different life situations and limitations. All activities are available by reservation starting from July 2025. The stable provides safety gear, and participants are expected to dress according to the weather and have their own accident insurance. Magic Sand Stable offers a safe, guided and truly memorable way to spend time with horses.
