Discover the gems of the arctic sea by bike throughout the year

Kalajoki offers the opportunity to ride through the dunes and along the coastline thanks to the lengthy duckboard network. Enjoy the smell of the sea and the noise of the waves, or discover a true winter wonderland during the winter, admiring the beautiful white rolling hills and sea ice.
The duckboards begin by the Kalajoki Camping campsite gates, which continues along the Lohilaakso restaurant all the way to the Vihas-Keihäslahti Nature Reserve.
In the summer, this means you can take a well-deserved beach break on your way as well as enjoy the services at hand at the resort.
Winter bikers will enjoy using the well-maintained light traffic routes at the resort.
There are also stunning trails and canopies for mountain bikers to conquer.
If you feel like heading over to the forest, there are various forest trails right by the Hiekkasärkät holiday area.

Himangan urheilijat, or the Sportsmen of Himanka, have created a new route at Himanka, the Ketterän kierros, meaning the tour of the agile, check it out here.
