Visit Kalajoki customer data register
Collection and protection of data
Kalajoki Tourism Association collects the name, phone number and email address of website visitors filling in the Contact and Feedback forms in order to contact the person if needed (for example to answer the question or reply to an inquiry). After the case is closed, the data will be removed from the register.
In case of the draws/lotteries, the personal information provided in the draw form will be stored in the Visit Kalajoki register. After the draw, the data will be removed from the register. If the person gives permission for direct marketing or subscribes for newsletters, the contact information will be stored in the register and Visit Kalajoki newsletters can be delivered to the given e-mail address.
The personal data of people filling in the forms is kept private. The use of the register within the organisation is limited and instructed so that access to data is granted only to employees who have the right to it and need it in their task. The personnel handling personal data is under a non-disclosure agreement.
The Visit Kalajoki website uses cookies to enhance user experience. Cookies are small text files sent to the user’s computer by the browser. You can disable cookies in your browser’s settings.
The right to check and correct data
You have the right to check your personal data stored in the register and have erroneous data corrected. You also have the right to ask for removal of your personal data at any time. The request for checking data is to be sent in writing via email. The data subject’s identification is checked before the data is transferred.
